Chapters cover parametric modeling scripts to measure ecosystem services of stormwater management, erosion control, tree benefits, outdoor comfort, accessibility, and many others. This process visually connects intangible and abstract information with physical and spatial relationships to signify the impact ecological, climate, and cultural factors have on landscape performance and decision making.Įach chapter begins with a summary of the performance method and its application in different projects, outlining the expected goals from industry standard equations and operations. I hardly recommend these courses for total beginners, advanced architecture students, or experienced pros who want to get better and for experienced designers because these courses perfectly work as an encyclopedia for Rhino3D, VRay, and Grasshopper. This is a guidebook for landscape architects to learn the fundamental practices and use of the computational software Rhino 3D and the plugin Grasshopper for parametric modeling, landscape inventory, and performative analysis. Very good and logical approach on how to explain and teach each tool, modeling, rendering process, and the thinking behind it. Good design needs good renders to show it, This is very important! And my classmates are all admiring my renders. VRay tutorials make me feel so easy to do the visualization works. Proper introductions, the background of Rhino, planning a model, step by step progression stages, and awesome exercises to practice each tool for certain architectures modeling tasks. I love the prepared resources which makes practicing and mastering tools a breeze! I can find all the tutorials that a student needed here. All courses are very organized and cover all aspects of the software.
